At St Chad’s we believe that Home Groups are the golden thread of church life. They provide an oasis for pastoral care, community building, friendship, fun and service, in a God-centred and discipling atmosphere.

 

Our many different groups provide a place of welcome and growth for everyone, in a relaxed and informal setting. Our Home Groups become more important as our numbers increase, providing folk with the opportunity to develop friendships with other members of our church family. A place where you can strengthen your faith through studying God's word, and a place to receive both pastoral and prayer support.

Our Home Groups focus on three areas when they meet together: 

 

Looking Upwards
Through: Worship and Bible Study,
seeking to deepen our discipleship in Christ.

 

Looking Inwards
Through fostering meaningful relationships,
and caring for one another’s pastoral needs,
both in prayer and in practical support

​

Looking Outwards
Through service, equipping one another and exploring ways
in which we can minister to those around us.

 

We have several evening Home Groups (Wednesday and Thursday), including a group specifically for 18-30's, and also a Friday morning church-based group. Each group meets on a fortnightly basis. For latest details please contact the Church Office.
